Antique cast iron fireplace surround top converted into a very nice shelf.  The fireplace dates back to the late 1800's-early 1900's and was salvaged from an old home in St. Louis MO.  Own a piece of St. Louis history - this was probably in use at the time of the 1904 World's Fair.
 
This would make a wonderful addition to your mantel for a flower arrangement or a book/magazine rack.
 
Inset mounting brackets are crafted onto its back.
