Handcrafted birdhouse.  Repurposed roof made from a porch carriage light.  The hole is 1 1/2 inches in diameter to accommodate many species of birds.  The deep set wood hole protects its residents from larger preditory birds.  The exterior metal rim also protects from squirrels and woodpeckers who have a tendancy of "enlarging" holes to make the homes their own.
